Bohol Day 1 - Part 1

I just came back from a trip with my dear friend AW. He’s from Hong Kong and flew back to Manila for a little R and R and to welcome Chinese New Year with the family.
Our friend J was supposed to be with us unfortunately, a little bug got her the week of the trip and instead, she made a little pep talk and made us pinky promise to not spoil our little trip.
Like good soldiers, AW and I followed our orders kept our promise and met up at the airport.

A very nice gentleman welcomed us with a huge smile and a board with our names written on it. He drove us (and became an instant tour guide) to our little heaven perched on top of a hill.

We were greeted by a very spacious lot and a smiling doorman. We wandered around for a minute until we reached the reception area.

Whats behind door number 309?

Bed with plush pillows,

and just a small veranda overlooking the vast sea. Yup! you read it right. The sea was greeting me good morning for three whole days!

 And at night..

A splash of vibrant colours and little twinkling lights afterwards.

I also meant the twinkling stars in the night sky.

We lounged around with wine in our hand and stories we have yet to tell.

More of this trip (and my very wonderful hotel) in the next post!
