Summer Pesto Addict

For almost a week now, I find myself always eating anything with pesto.
Breads, Pasta, Dips, the list goes on!
I was so happy when my sister M, who is by the way a culinary arts student, spoiled me and made these babies!

What you'll need:

Pesto
Mozzarella Cheese
Bread or Biscuits
Microwave Oven

You can buy Pesto at a grocery store. But for this we made our own! I'll post next time how you can make your own Pesto.

Making these is as simple as 1, 2, 3!
1. Slather the Pesto on the bread or biscuit.
2. Top it off with slices of mozzarella
3. Put it in the Microwave for 10 seconds or until the cheese melts (make sure the cheese won't burn because you won't achieve the nice consistency-just like in the photo)

Here's how to enjoy them,
1. After removing the plate from the microwave, carefull its hot!, place it on the table and smell first the aroma.
2. Grab a piece, watch how the cheese stretches, then BITE!
3. Savor the flavor then repeat step one.

You might think I'm crazy but thats how I'm addicted to Pesto!

We're still thinking of a name for this delicious Antipasti. Do have any ideas?

By the way, I spent my weekend with the breeze in my hair and the sun in my skin.

And I did fishing too!
